Other brokers represent both buildings and tenants. In that situation, whose interest is really being served, besides the broker? Cornerstone sits only on the tenant’s side of the table. We intentionally have no listings; so we can offer you complete, unbiased access to all space on the market.

Our Experience

Cornerstone Real Estate Group was founded in 1999 with a vision to be the premier tenant representation firm in the region. The principals of Cornerstone have completed over $1 billion in real estate transactions and have “created a level playing field” for its loyal client base. 

The principals of Cornerstone, Eric Ladden and Roger Cantor, combine for nearly 65 years of real estate experience. They have extensive expertise in the full spectrum of real estate transactions including: relocations, renegotiations, purchases, build-to-suit, subleases and more.

Cornerstone clients range from Fortune 500 companies to small local or regional businesses. Each one is given individualized attention. We want our clients to think of us as their real estate department or as a complement to their in-house real estate department. Roger Cantor

Roger Cantor has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate dedicated exclusively to tenant representation. He has represented numerous major public and private companies locally and throughout the United States. His unparalleled attention to detail, service, and commitment to results, generates value added services for his clients. He has completed hundreds of deals in recent years, resulting in a transactional value of nearly 1 billion dollars.

As a co-founding partner of Cornerstone Real Estate Group in 1999, Roger has helped Cornerstone create a unique position for itself in the real estate industry by providing tenants with the necessary tools to level the playing field in negotiating with landlords. By establishing alliances with some of the top project management and architectural design firms, accountants, and attorneys, his clients have a tremendous advantage in negotiations.

With a complete understanding of how landlords proforma lease transactions, Roger adeptly maximizes all the pools of money available to the tenant in each negotiation. His unique skill set and proficiency has made him one of the more recognized tenant advocacy brokers in the region for many years.

As a member of Exis Global Tenant Representation, Roger has aligned himself with some of the top tenant representation firms in the world, enabling him to best assist his clients with a global platform. Some notable clients are Oracle Corporation, Brown & Brown Insurance, Hyatt, Managed Healthcare Associates, Balchem Corporation, Penn Mutual, Trend Micro Incorporated, Friedman LLP, Wedbush Securities, Global Aerospace, Great West Life and many widely renowned and respected professional and legal firms.

Roger has been active in youth sports coaching his daughters for several years.  Roger earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Lehigh University.

Eric Ladden

Eric Ladden is the co-founder and principal of Cornerstone Real Estate Group. Cornerstone has been on the forefront of tenant representation since 1999, addressing issues tenants face due to dual representation, among other conflicts of interest, at other national firms. With over thirty years of experience, Eric is recognized as an industry leader with knowledge in all facets of the real estate transaction, including company needs assessment, construction costs and budgeting, market expertise, and financial analysis.

Eric’s practice includes organizations in a variety of sectors including financial services, accounting, law, technology, healthcare, and life sciences. Licensed in eleven states, he is also a member of the Exis Global Real Estate Network, an international affiliation of independent tenant representatives, with offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Prior to founding Cornerstone, Eric was a top producer at both CBRE and Resource Realty. He has won numerous industry awards throughout his career.

Recent notable transactions include: Oracle, Friedman LLC, RotenbergMeril, RegentAtlantic, Great West Life, MoneyLion, Donnelly Minter, Wedbush, Edison Partners, Shapiro Croland, Deliveright, Managed Healthcare Associates, Operative Media.


We are happy to share a deal we completed for our client Shaprio, Croland, Reiser, Apfel & Dilorio. The firm wanted to make their workspace a destination for their returning employees. Cornerstone Real Estate Group seized on the soft market conditions to negotiate a significant tenant improvement allowance and reduce occupancy costs all prior to lease expiration. As a result, the firm is thrilled to be taking their office into the future for the next generation of partners!

We are pleased to share a deal we completed for our client RotenbergMeril, one of the largest independent accounting firms in NJ. In order to continue the firm’s growth, RotenbergMeril needed a plan. Cornerstone Real Estate Group advised them to take advantage of the market since their business had been increasing steadily over the last number of years and they were planning on increasing their space by 20%. The firm’s success is born of a strong culture of mentorship and camaraderie – one of the reasons we’re so proud to work with them. Our architect designed a work environment reflective of the company’s culture and allowed the firm to adapt to a flexible work strategy during Covid-19.
